| Description: | This position is responsible for assisting with general department support responsibilities by seeking to increase the productivity of the department by assuming administrative tasks and duties that require a process focused discipline. He/she will be required to deliver on assigned projects, the preparation of special reports, the upkeep of HR databases (EV3, WISE, EXIT, etc.), and maintaining a continuous flow of information between departments and customers. |
| Duties: | 1. Prepares and posts notices of Job Postings, in compliance with company policies and procedures.
2. Maintain confidences; know when and who to notify of issues.
3. Assists with new-hire orientation, ensuring that appropriate paperwork is in order; follows up on any missing information; ensures all Personnel files are in compliance with Federal and State laws
4. Prepares workers comp paperwork in the event of an injured employee; coordinates medical treatment between the insurance carrier, medical doctors and the employees; works with departments for modified duty assignments.
5. Maintains Human Resources Information System records and compiles reports from database as requested.
6. Responsible for drafting and maintaining company newsletter.
7. Assists in the coordination of employee special events, i.e. employee picnics, holiday parties, monthly employee meetings, etc., to promote employee satisfaction.
8. Receives and responds appropriately to all requests for letters of employment verifications.
9. Strictly maintain confidentiality of Human Resource Department.
10. Actively promote the development of Business Partnership with assigned departments.
11. Assists in recruiting activities as assigned.
12. Assists and perform exit interviews as assigned.
13. Assists with special projects in obtaining information, creating reports and actively participating in special projects in meeting departmental needs.
14. Oversees administration of all company forms to ensure the integrity of HR information contained in its database.
15. Works autonomously. Identify needs and proceed forward with limited guidance.
16. Displays consistent, sound judgment in handling any range of HR issues.
17. Manages and organize the administrative needs during evaluations periods ensuring the proper preparation and distribution of reports.
18. Manages multiple projects and effectively performs all assigned tasks.

| Qualifications: | 1. Two to five years of Human Resource administrative or related experience preferred
2. Minimum 2 years office administrative experience required
3. Excellent written communications skills
4. Proficient in Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint or Presentations
5. Excellent interpersonal skills
6. Excellent organizational skills
7. Ability to use sound judgment, understand corporate culture, organizational savvy in making decisions and communicating issues.
8. Ability to be proactive, see a need, prioritize and follow through on tasks.
9. Ability to work as a team player
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
