| Description: | We are seeking a Senior Level PCB Designer who will manage PCB projects using VALOR. This position will service all areas of engineering and will have a strong interface between PCB Designers and professional engineering teams. This key role will develop and monitor the design for new products using 3D CAD and solid modeling software. You will be expected to be the leading technical expert in PCB Design for HMG! |
| Duties: | 1. Create schematics and printed circuit boards under the direction of the project engineer.
2. Change existing schematics and printed circuit boards using information from an Engineering Change Notice prepared by the project engineer or manufacturing engineering.
3. Create components for the printed circuit board design tool library using manufacturer’s specification and HMG procedures.
4. Provide significant technical leadership and expertise to others in the department.
5. Define and document company procedures, policies and guidelines associated with printed circuit board design.
6. Implement new processes and procedures into the department.
7. Remain current on leading edge technology related to printed circuit board design and have a vast understanding of the fabrication process and its effect on test engineering and manufacturing processes.

| Qualifications: | • Associate’s Degree in Drafting, Electronic Technology or related field
• Ten years of experience using a printed circuit board and schematic CAD design tool. Preferably PADS Power PCB and PADS Power Logic.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
1. Ability to handle a variety of projects simultaneously.
2. Ability to function in a team environment.
3. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
4. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
5. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers and engineering staff.
