| Description: | This position is located in Salt Lake City, UT.
The Harman Professional Group is looking for an experienced Business Analyst to join our Shared Service Center which will provide information, analysis and decision making tools for Harman Business units worldwide.
The BI Technical Lead position is responsible for providing information, analysis and decision making tools to the Business and working with Business owners to promote the use of BI tools. The position may also responsible for managing priorities and resources within the BI team and other related duties as assigned.

| Duties: | • Design, prototyping and implementation of BI tools in SAP (BW, BO, BI, etc)
• Able to create custom SAP BI (BW) extractions using tables, views, and function modules.
• Extensive knowledge of data modeling using ODSs, Infocubes, Infosets, and Multiproviders.
• SAP BI (BW) experience should also include back-end administration via the administrator workbench, front-end tools such as the BEx suite, and in-depth knowledge of SAP BI best practices.
• Experience implementing the following modules in SAP BI (BW): FI, CO, PCA, HR, MM, PP, COPA, & SD.
• Develop strategies to enhance end-user experience and work with Business owners to promote use of BI tools to the end-user community.
• May manage the internal and external resources necessary to execute and support approved BI initiatives.
• Mentor and develop BI team members, developing division of responsibilities and backups.
• Serve as the liaison between Business and technical BI resources (including SAP BASIS), facilitating issue resolution.
• Identify and evaluate alternate technical solutions, providing recommendations in the use of new and existing technologies.
• Develop BI policies, procedures and processes.
• Provide 2nd and 3rd level support of BI tools
• Assist business in creation of business concepts
• Participation in global SAP BI initiatives
• May lead BI related Projects
• Coordination of change requests with business integrator and module lead
• Realization, test and documentation of change requests in SAP BI
• Development of training material, configuration and process documentations and organization of training courses

| Qualifications: | • Experience with configuration of BI SAP modules (BW, BO, BI) and basic understanding of related SAP modules
• Service oriented, team spirit, reliability, initiative
• Strong communication skills, fluent in written and spoken English
• Project Management Skills
• BA/BS degree in Information Technology, Business or related field
• Some travel may be required |
